DescriptionBIBS-39 is a selective nonpeptide angiotensin II receptor antagonist with Ki of 29 nM and 480 nM for AT1 and AT2 respectively; shows no high affinity for other receptors, shifts the AII concentration-contractile response curves in isolated rabbit aorta with pA2 of 8.14 and a slope of 1.06; shows effective antihypertensives in the model of the renal hypertensive rat.
