Brief DescriptionML-097 (CID-2160985) is a pan activator of Ras-related GTPases.
-
DescriptionML-097 (CID-2160985) is a pan activator of Ras-related GTPases.(In Vitro):Activators of Cdc42 function might have a beneficial function in solid tumors and ameliorate faciogenital dysplasia where Cdc42 GEF is mutant. Rho GTPases affect cell proliferation and migration . In some cases underexpression is associated with cancer.(In Vivo):Rac2 is selectively expressed in immune cells and human Rac2 mutations result in immunodeficiency. Therefore, activators of Rac2 or other Rac family members might be of benefit in these diseases. Rac1 is important for maintaining hair follicle integrity and a rac1 deficiency in the skin causes nearly complete hair loss in an animal model.
-
In VitroML-099 activates cell division cycle 42 activated mutant, cell division cycle 42 wild type, Ras protein wild type, GTP-binding protein (Rab7), Rac1 protein activated mutant, Rac1 protein wild type, and Ras protein activated mutant with EC50 values of 50.11 nM, 102.32 nM, 109.64 nM, 20.41 nM, 81.28 nM, 151.35 nM, and 93.32 nM, respectively.
