-
Brief DescriptionBufalin is an active ingredient and one of the glycosides in the traditional Chinese medicine ChanSu.
-
DescriptionBufalin is an active ingredient and one of the glycosides in the traditional Chinese medicine ChanSu; it is also a bufadienolide toxin originally isolated from the venom of the Chinese toad Bufo gargarizans, with potential cardiotonic and antineoplastic activity. Although the mechanism of action of bufalin is still under investigation, this agent is a specific Na+/K+-ATPase inhibitor and can induce apoptosis in Y cell lines through the activation of the transcription factor AP-1 via a mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway.

Goniothalamin
Goniothalamin is a natural product that has been demonstrated to induce apoptosis in various cancer cell lines, can induce cytotoxicity and apoptosis on RT4 cells, induce apoptosis on HepG2 liver cancer cells via induction of caspase-3 with less sensitivity on the cell line of Chang cells.
-
Mtb ATP synthase-IN-...
Mtb ATP synthase-IN-1 (compound 6ab) is a potent inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) ATP synthase (MIC = 0.452-0.499 μg/mL) that can be used in anti-mycobacterium research, showing low cytotoxicity (Vero IC 50 > 64 μg/mL) and acceptable oral bioavailability with good metabolic stability.
-
Bacoside A3
Bacoside A3 is one of the components of Bacopa monnieri (L.) Wettst. bacoside A with antioxidant potential. Bacoside A3 shows comparatively higher neuroprotective response analysed as higher cell viability and decreased intracellular ROS.
