Description

Vps34-IN-1 is a potent, selective inhibitor of class III PI3K Vps34 with IC50 of 25 nM, does not inhibit class I and II PI3Ks, as well as a broad panel of protein kinases or lipid kinases; rapidly reduces endosomal PtdIns(3)P levels, induces a rapid ~50-60% loss of SGK3 phosphorylation in cells, does not inhibit activity of the SGK2 isoform; Vps34-IN1 is a useful probe to delineate physiological roles of the Vps34.
