DescriptionMK-4074 is a potent, liver-specific, orally active inhibitor of acetyl-CoA carboxylase ACC1 and ACC2 with IC50 of ~3 nM; lowers lipogenesis, increases ketones and reduces liver triglycerides, increases plasma triglycerides in mice; significantly decreases de novo lipogenesis (DNL) in a dose-dependent manner with ID50 of 0.9 mg/kg in models of obesity, type 2 diabetes and fatty liver.Steatohepatitis Phase 1 Clinical.
