DescriptionArimoclomol is a co-inducer of heat shock proteins (HSP) and can be used in studies about the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).(In Vivo):In male Wistar rats, Arimoclomol (20 mg/kg; gavage) protects cholecystokinin-octapeptide (CCK)-induced acute pancreatitis. The pancreatic levels of HSP60 and HSP72 are significantly increased.
