Biological Information

  • Product Name
    Pirazolac
  • Note
Research use only, not for human use.
  • Brief Description
Pirazolac (ZK-76604) is a novel non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent for the study of rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Description
    Pirazolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
  • In Vitro
Pirazolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Pirazolac concentration-relatedly inhibits the accumulation of prostanoids in incubates of human gastric mucosa, but this inhibition is less than that by indomethacin and other commonly used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This difference may explain the claim that Pirazolac is less damaging to the stomach.
