-
DescriptionCalcein Blue is a blue-fluorescent, short-term dye.
-
In VitroThe fluorescence of Calcein Blue (CB) is quenched by the Fe2+ ion in the Calcein Blue-Fe2+ complex. When dopamine is added to a solution of the Calcein Blue-Fe2+ complex, a dopamine-Fe2+ complex is formed as the result of a ligand exchange reaction between Calcein Blue and dopamine which permits the fluorescence from Calcein Blue to be recovered. The fluorescence intensity at the wavelength of 440 nm (at the excitation wavelength of 340 nm) is found to be proportional to the concentration of the dopamine added to the Calcein Blue-Fe2+ complex solution, which permits dopamine to be quantitatively determined. The Calcein Blue-Fe2+ complex shows a high selectivity for dopamine among the catecholamines and related compounds examined.

Reference
-
Arg-Gly-Glu-Ser
Arg-Gly-Glu-Ser is a RGD related peptide that is a control for the RGDS activity of fibrinogen binding to activated platelets.
-
Deoxy Epinephrine
N-Methyldopamine hydrochloride is a precursor of adrenaline in the adrenal medulla. N-Methyldopamine hydrochloride is a modification of the dopamine (DA), and retains agonist activity at the DA1 receptor. N-Methyldopamine hydrochloride remains capable of universal surface coating and secondary reactions using the surface catechols. N-Methyldopamine hydrochloride can be used for heart failure research.
-
12(S)-HETE
12(S)-HETE is the predominant lipoxygenase product of mammalian platelets. It enhances tumor cell adhesion to endothelial cells, fibronectin, and the subendothelial matrix at 0.1μM181M.
