2'-Deoxyadenosine 5'-monophosphate( D-AMP )

Catalog No. M19653 CAS No. 653-63-4

Adenosine is a nucleoside comprised of adenine attached to a ribose (ribofuranose) moiety via a -N9-glycosidic bond. Deoxyadenosine monophosphate is a derivative of the common nucleic acid ATP or adenosine triphosphate in which the -OH (hydroxyl) group on the 2' carbon on the nucleotide's pentose has been removed (hence the deoxy- part of the name).

  • Description
Adenosine is a nucleoside comprised of adenine attached to a ribose (ribofuranose) moiety via a -N9-glycosidic bond. Deoxyadenosine monophosphate is a derivative of the common nucleic acid ATP or adenosine triphosphate in which the -OH (hydroxyl) group on the 2' carbon on the nucleotide's pentose has been removed (hence the deoxy- part of the name). Additionally the monophosphate of the name indicates that two of the phosphoryl groups of GTP have been removed most likely by hydrolysis. Deoxyadenosine monophosphate is abbreviated dAMP..
  • In Vitro
2′-Deoxyadenosine 5′-monophosphate (dAMP) is incorporated into Caco-2 cells in a time-dependent manner. The uptake of 2′-Deoxyadenosine 5′-monophosphate is increased with a drop in pH, suggesting that 2′-Deoxyadenosine 5′-monophosphate transport activity might be linked to the protons. 2′-Deoxyadenosine 5′-monophosphate uptake by Caco-2 cells is pH- and Na+-dependent.

  • Chitinase, Serratia ...

Chitinase, Serratia marcescens (EC 3.2.1.14) has partial lysozyme activity and is widely found in bacteria, fungi, animals and some plants. Chitinase belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase family. Chitinase catalyzes chito-oligosaccharide hydrolysis. Chitinases also can serve as prognostic biomarkers of disease progression. Chitinase can be used in the research of pathogenesis of various human fibrotic and inflammatory disorders, particularly those of the lung (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sarcoidosis, and asthma) and the gastrointestinal tract (inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) and colon cancer).
