Biological Information

Product NameCarnosol
-
NoteResearch use only, not for human use.
-
Brief DescriptionCarnosol has anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative and apoptosis inducing properties.
-
DescriptionCarnosol has anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative and apoptosis inducing properties. Carnosol enhances the sensitivity of chemoresistant cancer cells to chemotherapeutic agents. Carnosol may as a novel agonist of TRPA1 with an EC5 value of 12.46 µM.
-
In VitroIt is showed that carnosol has no cytotoxic effects on GES1 cells and 10 μM carnosol strongly suppresses RSK2 activity, but has little effect on any other kinase. Carnosol exerts strong dose-dependent inhibitory effects against RSK2 autophosphorylation and phosphorylation of its substrate ATF1.
-
In VivoResults indicate that Carnosol significantly decreaseS the volume and weight of gastric tumors relative to the vehicle-treated group. Additionally, mice tolerate treatment with carnosol without significant loss of body weight similar to the vehicle-treated group. The phosphorylation of CREB, a direct downstream protein of RSK2, Is strongly inhibited in the carnosol-treated group but the expression of total CREB is relatively unchanged.

Phenazoline
Argireline a synthetic peptide which is patterned from the N-terminal end of the protein SNAP-25 can both reduce the degree of existing facial wrinkles and demonstrate effectively against their development.
-
Methyl retinoate
Methyl retinoate (Retinoic acid, methyl ester) induces aseptic inflammation at the site of administration in in vivo experiments, which causes an increase in the number of leukocytes in the blood and a decrease in the levels of red blood cells and Hb.Methyl retinoate promotes spontaneous leukemia.Methyl retinoate can be Used in the treatment of gastric hypertrophy and ulcers due to vitamin A deficiency.

Cholesteryl palmitat...
Cholesteryl palmitic acid is a cholesteryl ester. A cholesteryl ester is an ester of cholesterol. Fatty acid esters of cholesterol constitute about two-thirds of the cholesterol in the plasma. Cholesterol is a sterol (a combination of steroid and alcohol) and a lipid found in the cell membranes of all body tissues and transported in the blood plasma of all animals.
