A novel potent STAT6 inhibitor with IC50 of 21 nM in STAT6-dependent promoter reporter assay; inhibits IL-4-induced Th2 differentiation of mouse spleen T cells with IC50 of 2.3 nM, without influencing Th1 differentiation induced by IL-12; completely inhibits both the antigen-induced up-regulation of RhoA and BSM hyperresponsiveness, significantly inhibits antigen-induced production of IL-13 in mice.
