Description

BC-23 (NSC 45382) is a novel inhibitor of β-catenin/Tcf4 interaction with IC50 of 1.7 uM; dose-dependently inhibits TOP-luciferase activity in H1299 cells with IC50 of 2.3 uM; causes strong synergistic enhancement of the cancer cell death induced by low doses of radiation; effectively inhibits Wnt/β-catenin signaling and down-regulates c-Myc and cyclin D1 expression, induces S phase and ROS generation, and overcomes radioresistance in human NSCLC cells.
