-
DescriptionCatalpol, an iridoid glycoside, has neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-hepatitis virus effects.(In Vitro):Catalpol (0.1 μg/mL; for 3 days) can induce neuronal differentiation in PC12 cells through activation of the intracellular signal transduction pathway, and promote neurite length.(In Vivo):Catalpol (25-100 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; once) treatment clearly reduces blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine levels and the expression of KIM-1 in renal ischemia/reperfusion-injury (IRI) mice. Catalpol markedly reduces the expression of PI3K, Akt and eNOS levels, and suppresses the TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10 activities.

Acuminatin
(+)-Acuminatin exerts hepatoprotective activities, perhaps by serving as a potent antioxidant. (+)-trans-Acuminatin, and (+)-cis-acuminatin show weak activity against platelet aggregation with IC50 values of 108.5 and 90.02 uM, respectively.
-
Orexin A (human, rat...
Endogenous agonist at orexin receptors (Ki values are 20 and 38 nM for OX1 and OX2 receptors respectively). Stimulates feeding following central administration and may be involved in the control of sleep-wake cycle and other hypothalamic functions.

PF-05231023
PF-05231023 is a long-acting fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) analog and is an FGF21-receptor agonist. It is also suitable for development as a potential treatment for T2DM. PF-05231023 is a analog of long-acting fibroblast growth factor 21.
