A small molecule, full antagonist of CD4 that blocks gp120-CD4 interaction; inhibits the CD4-dependent virus in a dose-dependent manner with IC50 of 2.4 uM; also weakly shows HIV-1 RT inhibition with IC50 of 43.4 uM; exhibits pan-neutralization activity against a panel of 56 Env-pseudotyped HIV-1 representing diverse subtypes of clinical isolates (IC50 as low as 270 nM).HIV Preclinical.
