  • Description
Fudosteine is a novel mucoactive agent and a MUC5AC mucin hypersecretion inhibitor. (In Vitro):Fudosteine (50, 100, 200 mg/kg) decreases the LPS-induced p-ERK1/2 and p-p38 MAPK levels in the rat lungs. The TNF-α-induced increase in MUC5AC mRNA expression is inhibited by pretreatment with 1 mM Fudosteine.
