-
DescriptionTMP-153 is a potent acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) inhibitor with IC50 of 5-10 nM for the hepatic and intestinal ACAT from various animals; inhibits cholesterol esterification both in human colonic adenocarcinoma cells, LS180, and in human hepatoma cells, HepG2 (IC50 = 150 nM and 330 nM, respectively); inhibits cholesterol absorption and lowers plasma cholesterol in rats and hamsters.Hypercholesterolemia Discontinued.

Cytidine-5-triphosph...
Cytidine-5'-triphosphate (Cytidine triphosphate) is a compound widely found in living organisms that serves as an energy substance, as a building block for nucleotide and nucleic acid and lipid biosynthesis, and activates protein kinase reactions.
-
PKC ζ pseudosubstrat...
Inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC) ζ; attached to cell permeabilisation Antennapedia domain vector peptide. Consists of amino acids 113 - 129 of PKC ζ pseudosubstrate domain linked by a disulphide bridge to the Antennapedia domain vector peptide. The Antennapedia peptide is actively taken up by intact cells, at 4 or 37°C, ensuring rapid and effective uptake of the inhibitor peptide. Once inside the cell, the disulphide bonds are subjected to reduction in the cytoplasm leading to release of the inhibitor peptide. Induces mast cell degranulation by a PKC ζ-independent pathway.

BNTA
BNTA is a potent extracellular matrix (ECM) modulator. In a rat model of arthritis, BNTA modulates arthritis by promoting the synthesis of cartilage structural molecules on chondrocytes through the induction of superoxide dismutase 3 (SOD3) and regulating chondrogenesis through superoxide anion elimination.
