Brief Description

Isoxanthohumol shows an antiviral activity towards herpes viruses (HSV1 and HSV2) and bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV).
Description

Isoxanthohumol is a less potent derivative of xanthohumol found in Humulus lupulus. It modulates signalling between endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells, induces apoptosis in mature adipocytes, and inhibits differentiation of preadipocytes.
