-
DescriptionFosfructose (Diphosphofructose;Esafosfan;FDP) is a cytoprotective natural sugar phosphate for the potential treatment of cardiovascular ischemia, sickle cell anemia and asthma. It acts by stimulating anaerobic glycolysis which generates adenosine triphosphate under ischemic conditions. At equivalent molar concentrations, both the salt and free forms of a compound exhibit comparable biological activity. Nevertheless, the salt form (Fosfructose trisodium) usually boasts enhanced water solubility and stability.

-
Curculigoside B
Curculigoside B shows antioxidative and antiosteoporotic activities, it can decrease area of bone resorption pit, osteoclastic formation and TRAP activity.
-
5,6,7-Trimethoxycoum...
5,6,7-Trimethoxycoumarin shows moderate inhibitory activity against Micrococcus luteus, it also displays an intermediate cytotoxic effects against brine shrimp larvae. 5,6,7-Trimethoxycoumarin can improve gastroprotective effects, and it has low toxicity and minimal effects on drug-metabolizing enzymes.
-
Cyclo(Pro-Val)
Cyclo(Pro-Val) shows cyctoxic, moderate antifungal and weak antitumor activities in vitro, it can inhibit the growth of Bacillus subtilis with the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) value of 0.8 g/L. Cyclo(Pro-Val) and cyclo(Pro-Tyr) are toxic to both suspension cells and seedlings of Pinus thunbergii, which may offer some clues to research the mechanism of pine wilt disease caused by pine wood nematode.
