    BSI-201 (Iniparib;NSC 746045;IND-71677;SAR240550) is a potent, small molecule PARP1 inhibitor with strong anti-neoplastic effect, demonstrates the potential treatment of breast cancer.Breast Cancer Phase 2 Discontinued(In Vitro):Iniparib nonselectively modifies cysteine-containing proteins in tumor cells. Iniparib (100 μM) weakly inhibits SSB repair, and the inhibition can be reversed by knockdown of PARP1. Iniparib in combination with cisplatin is cytotoxic to Myc/MDA-231 with EMT changes.
