    103D5R is a small-molecule inhibitor of HIF-1α that displays an EC50 of 35 uM against hypoxia-induced alkaline phosphatase enzymatic reporter activity; shows cell proliferation under normoxia in LN229 cell with IC50 of 26 uM, markedly decreases HIF-1α protein synthesis induced by hypoxia or cobaltous ions in a dose- and time-dependent manner; inhibits phosphorylation of Akt, SAPK/JNK and Erk1/2, prevents the activation of HIF-1 target genes under hypoxia such as VEGF and Glut-1.
