t-Boc-N-amido-PEG8-acid is a PEG derivative containing a terminal carboxylic acid and Boc-protected amino group. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond.(In Vitro):PROTACs contain two different ligands connected by a linker; one is a ligand for an E3 ubiquitin ligase and the other is for the target protein. PROTACs exploit the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system to selectively degrade target proteins.
