Descriptionɑ-Tocopherolquinone, also known as Vitamin E Quinone (D-form), is a mitochondrial membrane transport protein that has been in phase II clinical trials for the treatment of inherited mitochondrial respiratory chain diseases, however this research has been discontinued. It has also been used for the treatment of Frederich's ataxia and MEILAS syndrome.
