Biological Information

  • Product Name
    TAMRA-PEG3-Azide
  • Note
Research use only, not for human use.
  • Brief Description
TAMRA-PEG3-Azide is a TAMRA red fluorescent dye linker with a maximum excitation/emission wavelength of 553/575 nm.
  • Description
TAMRA-PEG3-Azide is a dye derivative of TAMRA (HY-135640) containing 3 PEG units. TAMRA-PEG3-Azide contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. Strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) can also occur with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
  • In Vitro
PROTACs contain two different ligands connected by a linker; one is a ligand for an E3 ubiquitin ligase and the other is for the target protein. PROTACs exploit the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system to selectively degrade target proteins.
