-
DescriptionSBI993 is an analog of SBI-477 and can be used as a biomarker to confirm the expected action of MondoA target gene expression in vivo. SBI993 reduces muscle TAG levels and hepatic steatosis.(In Vitro):SBI-993 reduces the expression of TXNIP and ARRDC4 in human myotubes.(In Vivo):SBI993 (50 mg/kg; s.c.) shows a reduction of the expression of TAG synthesis and lipogenic genes in both muscle and liver. SBI993 reduces Txnip and Arrdc4 expression especially robust in liver. Occupation of both ChREBP and MondoA on the Txnip and pyruvate kinase (Pklr) gene promoters was reduced in liver by SBI993.
