DescriptionOSBPL7-IN-1 is an orally active inhibitor of oxysterol binding protein like 7 (OSBPL7). OSBPL7-IN-1 promotes an increase of ABCA1 at the plasma membrane without affecting mRNA expression.(In Vitro):OSBPL7-IN-1 (compound G; 1-10?μM) increase plasma membrane ATP-binding cassette transporter (ABCA1) in cultured human podocytes, and significantly increase ABCA1-dependent cholesterol efflux.(In Vivo):OSBPL7-IN-1 (100?mg/kg; oral gavage; daily; for 28 days) treatment normalizes proteinuria, and prevents renal function decline in mouse models of proteinuric kidney disease.
