  • Brief Description
N-trans-caffeoyltyramine is a novel and potent modulator of inflammatory responses.
  • Description
N-trans-caffeoyltyramine is a novel and potent modulator of inflammatory responses.(In Vitro):N-trans-caffeoyltyramine inhibits the production of NO, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-10 in the LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells in a dose-dependent manner. N-trans-caffeoyltyramine markedly suppresses the expression of COX-2 and the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in response to LPS stimulation. N-trans-caffeoyltyramine markedly decreases p-c-Jun N-terminal kinase (p-JNK) protein expression in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells.
