Brief DescriptionMCU-i11 is a novel negative modulator of the MCU, binding MICU1 and impairing muscle cell growth.
-
DescriptionMCU-i11 is a novel negative modulator of the MCU, binding MICU1 and impairing muscle cell growth.(In Vitro):Mitochondrial Ca2+ uptake in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs), MDA-MB-231, and HEK293T cell lines were measured upon treatment with 10 μM compound. MCU-i11 reduced mitochondrial Ca2+ uptake in all tested cell lines, indicating the existence of a conserved mechanism. MCU-i11 had no effect on cell viability.

BDC2.5 mimotope 1040...
BDC2.5 mimotope 1040-51 is a mimotope peptide for diabetogenic T cell clone BDC2.5. isolated from non-obese diabetic mice. This is a effectively agonistic peptide (mimotope) for diabetogenic T cell clone BDC2.5. from non-obese diabetic (NOD) mice. T cells from prediabetic and diabetic NODs respond to BDC2.5 mimotope peptides.

Adrenocorticotropic ...
Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) (4-10) is an agonist of potent melanocortin(MC4R) receptor. In humans, Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) (4-10)?enters the cerebral fluid compartment after intranasal application and leads to a?decrease in total body fat after 6 weeks of continuous treatment.

D-Proline
D-proline is an isomer of the naturally occurring amino acid L-Proline. D-amino acids have been found in relatively high abundance in human plasma and saliva. These amino acids may be of bacterial origin but there is also evidence that they are endogenously produced through amino acid racemase activity.
