-
In VitroGHRF, bovine (0.001 nM-100 nM; 6 h) increases growth hormone (GH) release from bovine anterior pituitary cells, with maximum release of 262% above control at 100 nM. GHRF, bovine (0.0001 nM-100 nM; 24 h) linearly increases GH secretion and is enhanced by Hydrocortisone (Cortisol, 10 ng/mL) in anterior pituitary cells cultured in media containing fetal calf serum (FCS).
-
In VivoGHRF, bovine (12 mg/d; i.v.drip; from 118 to 181 d postpartum) has no influence on the mRNA abundance of the liver-type glucose transporter in the liver or kidney of postpartum bovine.GHRF, bovine (12 mg/d; i.v.drip; from 118 to 181 d postpartum) also doesn’t alter the mRNA abundance of the erythrocyte-type or the intestinal-type glucose transporter in the kidney of postpartum bovine, but results individual differences in the mRNA abundance of the intestinal-type glucose transporter in liver.

Eugeniin
Tellimagrandin II (Eugeniin), with oral activity, is the first intermediate of the ellagitannin series derived from 4C1-glucose. It inhibits the resistance of Staphylococcus aureus by disrupting the integrity of the cell wall, leading to the loss of cytoplasmic contents. Additionally, Tellimagrandin II exhibits anti-inflammatory effects and inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity, improving memory impairment. Tellimagrandin II holds potential for research in the fields of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and neurodegenerative diseases.
-
Litorin
Litorin, an amphibian bombesin peptide derivative, is an bombesin receptor agonist. Litorin stimulates the contraction of smooth muscle, stimulates gastrin, gastric acid, and pancreatic secretion, and suppresses the nutriment in vivo.
-
Quinoline
Quinoline is found in alcoholic beverages. Quinoline is an alkaloid from various plant species including Mentha species. Also present in cocoa black tea and scotch whiskey.
