Thalrugosaminine is a benzylisoquinoline alkaloid isolated from the roots of Thalictrum minus. Thalrugosaminine shows good antibacterial activity with MIC values of 64-128 μg/ml.

Dictamnine shows anticholinesterase anti-inflammatory mutagenic and has antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi. It has the ability to exert cytotoxicity in human cervix colon and oral carcinoma cells.
