Lexatumumab (GHS-ETR 2) is a human excitatory monoclonal antibody targeting TRAIL receptor 2 that has anticancer activity and induces apoptosis in malignant mesothelioma.

Lexatumumab (HGS-ETR 2) is a human agonistic TRAIL receptor 2 (TRAIL-R2, DR5, APO-2) IgG4κ type monoclonal antibody. Lexatumumab induces apoptosis in malignant mesothelioma. Lexatumumab can be used for malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) research.

Cell Viability Assay Cell Line:Melanoma cell lines Concentration:0.01, 0.1, 1.0 and 10.0 μg/ml Incubation Time:72 h Result:Induced various degrees of cell death in the different cell lines.

Animal Model:FEMX-1 xenografts miceDosage:10 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg+Dacarbazine (62.5 mg/kg once a week, i.p. injection)Administration:i.v., twice a week Result:Increased antitumor effect in vivo when combined with Dacarbazine (HY-B0078). Induced cleavage of livin into its truncated, proapoptotic form, a compound previously shown to accelerate apoptosis.
