PA-8( —— )
Catalog No. M35242 CAS No. 878437-15-1
PA-8 is a small molecule receptor antagonist for PACAP Type I (PAC1) that is selective, effective, and orally active. PA-8 inhibits PacAP-induced CREB phosphorylation at PAC1- receptors, but does not inhibit VPAC1- or vpac2 receptors.

NoteResearch use only, not for human use.
-
Brief DescriptionPA-8 is a small molecule receptor antagonist for PACAP Type I (PAC1) that is selective, effective, and orally active. PA-8 inhibits PacAP-induced CREB phosphorylation at PAC1- receptors, but does not inhibit VPAC1- or vpac2 receptors.
-
DescriptionPA-8 is a potent, selective and orally active PACAP type I (PAC1) receptor antagonist. PA-8 inhibits the phosphorylation of CREB induced by PACAP in PAC1-, but not VPAC1- or VPAC2-receptor. PA-8 also inhibits PACAP-induced cAMP elevation with an IC50 of 2 nM.

Isowighteone
Isowighteone, a compound that is not naturally produced in this species, accumulated by medicago truncatula hairy roots expressing LaPT1, indicates a strategy for metabolic engineering of novel antimicrobial compounds in legumes; it may have antimicrobial activity against fungal pathogens of plants.

Ziconotide TFA (1074...
Ziconotide TEA acts by binding to N-type calcium channels situated on the terminal part of primary afferent neurons of the nociceptive pathway therefore reducing synaptic transmission with potent antinociceptive effects.

Acetyl Dopamine Dime...
N-Acetyldopamine dimer-1 is a 2-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl)-1,4-benzodioxane derivative. N-Acetyldopamine dimer-1 is optically active, can be isolated from crude agent "Zentai," a cast-off shell of the cicada of Cryptotympana sp. (Cicadidae).
