  • Description
Incensole acetate is a novel anti-inflammatory compound that inhibits NF-κB activation.
  • In Vitro
Incensole acetate (100 μM; pre-treatment 4 hours) significantly ameliorates Aβ 25–35-induced cell death, a 48–52% decrease in cell viability at Aβ25–35 is restored to 85–89% upon pre-treatment with IA.Incensole acetate (5-100 μM) pretreatment reverses increase in the mRNA and protein level of Bax, caspase 8, cyto c and decrease in the mRNA and protein level of Bcl2 induced by Aβ 25–35 in hOBNSCs. Cell Viability Assay Cell Line:Human olfactory bulb neural stem cells Concentration:100 μM Incubation Time:Pre-treatment 4 hours Result:Increased hOBNSCs cell viability induced by Aβ 25-35.
