CALP2( —— )
Catalog No. M30702 CAS No. 261969-04-4
Cell-permeable calmodulin (CaM) antagonist that binds to the EF-hand/Ca2+-binding site. CALP2 has been demonstrated to inhibit CaM-dependant phosphodiesterase activity and increase intracellular Ca2+ concentrations by modulating Ca2+-channel activity. CALP2 has also been shown to be a potent activator of alveolar macrophages.

Methyl acetoacetate
Methylacetoacetic acid has been identified in the urine of patients with an inherited deficiency of propionyl-CoA carboxylase and after isoleucine loading in the diagnosis of 2-methylacetoacetyl-CoA thiolase deficiency.

Helodermin
Helodormin is a VIP-secretin-like peptide isolated from the venom of the Mexican monster lizard (Heloderma suspectum). Helodormin affects a variety of cellular functions by modulating intracellular signaling through activation of adenylate cyclase. Helodormin can be used to study the evolution and function of the secretin and VIP peptide families.
