Brief Description4-Methoxy-17-estradiol is one of the estrogen metabolites and a methylation metabolite of 4-hydroxyestradiol.
-
Description4-Methoxy-17-estradiol is one of the estrogen metabolites and a methylation metabolite of 4-hydroxyestradiol.(In Vitro):4-Methoxy-17-estradiol treatment significantly decreased cell growth and increased mitotic index. Elevation of ROS and SOD activity, with a concomitant decrease in the intracellular GSH/GSSG ratio, was also detected in 4-Methoxy-17-estradiol-treated cells. Quantitative comet assay showed increased oxidative DNA damage in the 4-Methoxy-17-estradiol-treated H1355 cells, which could be significantly reduced by the anti-oxidant N-acetylcysteine (NAC).(In Vivo):4-Methoxy-17-estradiol had much weaker estrogenic activity and have similar lipid-modulating effects compared to 4-hydroxyestradiol in ovariectomized female rats.

Neuropeptide Y (18-3...
Neuropeptide Y (18-36) (porcine) is a competitive neuropeptide Y (NPY) cardiac receptor antagonist. Neuropeptide Y (18-36) (porcine) inhibits the binding of I-NPY to cardiac ventricular membranes in a concentration-dependent manner with an IC50 value of 158 nM and an Ki value of 140 nM. Neuropeptide Y (18-36) (porcine) can be used for the research of congestive heart failure.

pTH-Related Protein ...
pTH-Related Protein (1-40) (human, mouse, rat) stimulates calcium uptake in rat intestinal cells through PTHR1 receptor and PKCα/β signaling pathways. pTH-Related Protein (1-40) up-regulates parathyroid hormone 1 receptor (PTHR1) protein, four transcellular calcium transporters, potential vanillin member 6 (TRPV6), calcium-binding protein-D9K (CaBP-D9k), sodium-calcium Exchanger 1 (NCX1) and plasma membrane calcium ATPase 1 (PMCA1).
