-
DescriptionTemafloxacin is an antibiotic and antimycobacterial agent. It used to treat lower respiratory tract infections, genital and urinary infections like prostatitis, and skin infections.(In Vitro):Temafloxacin has broad antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including improved in vitro activity against Streptococcus pneumonia, Mycoplasma hominis, and anaerobic bacteria, including Bacteroides fragilis.(In Vivo):Temafloxacin has a half-life of 7-8 hours and rapid gastrointestinal absorption. Temafloxacin has excellent tissue and body fluid penetration and concentration except for the central nervous system (CNS).
-
In VitroTemafloxacin (0-64 μg/mL; 18-24 h) shows good antibacterial activity for gram-positive/negative bacteria, with MIC ranges of <0.004-0.5, 0.5-2 and 0.06-0.25 μg/mL for E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and S. aureus, respectively. Cell Viability AssayCell Line:E. coli (16 strains), P. aeruginosa (13 strains), and S. aureus (17 strains).Concentration:0-64 μg/mLIncubation Time:18-24 hResult:Inhibited E. coli (16 strains), P. aeruginosa, and S. aureus with MIC ranges of <0.004-0.5 (MIC 90%=0.06, =0.06), 0.5-2 (MIC 90%=1, MIC 50%=1) and 0.06-0.25 μg/mL (MIC 90%=0.125, MIC 50%=0.125). MIC 90% and 50% means MIC for 90% and 50% of the isolates (unit: μg/mL).
-
In VivoTemafloxacin (6.25, 25, 100 mg/kg; p.o.; single) shows good inhibitory activity to murine pyelonephritis.Temafloxacin hydrochloride (100 mg/kg; p.o. or s.c.; single) shows rapid gastrointestinal absorption, and has excellent tissue and body fluid penetration and concentration (except for central nervous system (CNS)). Animal Model:Female CF-1 mice (20-25 g) (murine pyelonephritis model).Dosage:6.25, 25, 100 mg/kg Administration:Orally; single.Result:Reduced the number of viable bacteria in the kidneys of mice.Animal Model:Female CF-1 mice (20-25 g).Dosage:100 mg/kg Administration:Subcutaneously or orally; single.Result:Pharmacokinetic Parameters of Temafloxacin hydrochloride in Female CF-1 mice.

Puromycin
Puromycin is an antibiotic protein synthesis inhibitor. It inhibits protein synthesis by binding to RNA. It also serves as an anticancer drug by suppressing the growth and metastasis in esophagus cancer cells by Akt phosphorylation. It is an antineoplastic and antitrypanosomal agent and is used in research as an inhibitor of protein synthesis.

Rabacfosadine
Rabacfosadine (GS-9219) is a novel dual pre-drug of the acyclic nucleotide phosphonate PMEG to tumor lymphocytes for the study of lymphoma.
-
G907 B
G907 is a selective and potent antagonist of the small molecule ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter protein MsbA, with bactericidal activity, which traps MsbA in the inner lipopolysaccharide.
