In VivoSofpironium bromide exhibits anticholinergic activity by inhibiting the contractile activity of guinea pig ileal tissue in a concentration-dependent manner. In a rat model, Sofpironium bromide reduces footpad sweating induced by Pilocarpine (a muscarinic receptor agonist).
