DescriptionElaidic acid is the 9-trans isomer of oleic acid. It is a monounsaturated trans-fatty acid which can be found in partially hydrogenated cooking oils. In human platelets incubated with arachidonic acid elaidic acid inhibits HHT and HETE formation while inducing prostaglandin and thromboxane synthesis.

Lipoxin A4
Lipoxin A4 (LXA4) is a lipoxygenase-derived arachidonate-like mediator with anti-inflammatory properties.Lipoxin A4 attenuates MSU crystal-induced NLRP3 inflammasome activation through inhibition of Nrf2, and regulates M1/M2 macrophage polarization through the FPR2-IRF pathway.

3-Methylglutaric aci...
Methylglutaric acid is a leucine metabolite. A large amount of methylglutaric acid is identified in urine of patients with deficiency of 3-methylglutaconyl coenzyme A hydratase. Methylglutaric acid is also found to be associated with 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA lyase deficiency another inborn error of metabolism.
