-
DescriptionEnalapril Maleate, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, is utilized in the treatment of hypertension, chronic heart failure , and diabetic nephropathy.(In Vivo):Enalapril (MK-421) is a prodrug that belongs to the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor class of medications. It is rapidly metabolized in the liver to enalaprilat following oral administration. Enalapril (MK-421) is a potent, competitive inhibitor of ACE, the enzyme responsible for the conversion of angiotensin I (ATI) to angiotensin II (ATII). ATII regulates blood pressure and is a key component of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS). Enalapril may be used to treat essential or renovascular hypertension and symptomatic congestive heart failure.

3-Indoleacrylic acid
3-Indoleacrylic acid is a metabolite of tryptophan produced by Peptostreptococcus species. 3-Indoleacrylic acid has a beneficial effect on intestinal epithelial barrier function and mitigates inflammatory responses by immune cells.
-
Lathosterol
Lathosterol is a cholesterol-like endogenous metabolite. Serum Lathosterol concentration can be used as an indicator of whole-body cholesterol synthesis.
-
Guanosine 5'-triphos...
Guanosine 5'-triphosphate trisodium salt activates the signal transducing G proteins which are involved in various cellular processes including proliferation differentiation and activation of several intracellular kinase cascades.Proliferation and apoptosis are regulated in part by the hydrolysis of GTP by small GTPases Ras and Rho.
