DescriptionHydroxygenkwanin possesses significant the antioxidative activity . Hydroxygenkwanin has cytotoxicity, may be an effective natural product to treat glioma, and the combination of Apigenin and Hydroxygenkwanin may be a promising method for glioma chemotherapy.
-
In VitroHydroxygenkwanin (7-O-Methylluteolin) inhibits C6 glioma cell proliferation in a dose dependent manner. Hydroxygenkwanin induces the cell cycle arrest by flow cytometry and inhibits colony formation ability and cell movement. Hydroxygenkwanin induces cell cycle arrest through p21 activation and causes intrinsic cell apoptosis pathway.

Pro-xylane
Pro-xylane (Hydroxypropyl tetrahydropyrantriol) is a biologically active C-glycoside in aqueous media, acts as an activator of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) biosynthesis.

[Sar1, Ile8]-Angiote...
[Sar1, Ile8]-Angiotensin II is a peptide that has multiple effects on vascular smooth muscle, including contraction of normal arteries and hypertrophy or hyperplasia of cultured cells or diseased vessels. The biological activities of angiotensin II antagonists upon basal and angiotensin II-stimulated aldosterone production were evaluated in an isolated canine glomerulosa cell preparation.

Neuropeptide Y (3-36...
Neuropeptide Y (3-36) (human, rat), a neuropeptide Y (NPY) metabolite formed from dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP4), is a selective Y2 receptor agonist. Neuropeptide Y (3-36) (human, rat) is a NPY metabolite formed from dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP4). Neuropeptide Y (3-36) (human, rat) decreases release of norepinephrine via the Y2 receptor.
