DescriptionHT-0712 (IPL-455903) is a novel potent, selective PDE4 inhibitor with IC50 of 0.15 uM for PDE4D3, without effect on PDE1B, PDE3A, and PDE10A; facilitates expression of a CRE-luciferase reporter gene and expression of the CREB target-gene somatostatin in SK-N-MC neuroblastoma cells, abolishes the long-term memory defect of CBP+/- mice, enhances long-term memory formation in normal young mice at brain concentrations similar to those found to increase CRE-mediated gene expression in hippocampal neurons.Alzheimer Disease Phase 2 Clinical.
