Description6-Aminocaproic acid is an antifibrinolytic agent that acts by inhibiting plasminogen activators which have fibrinolytic properties.(In Vitro):6-Aminocaproic acid (20-180 μg/mL) inhibits fibrinolysis in plasma of Asian elephants, with an effective concentration of 61.5 μg/mL.6-Aminocaproic acid can be used as a hydrophobic linker to improve near-infrared fluorescence imaging and photothermal cancer therapy of PEGylated indocyanine green.(In Vivo):6-Aminocaproic acid (20-100 mg/kg; a single p.o.) inhibits fibrinolysis at all doses tested in dogs.6-Aminocaproic acid (20-100 mg/kg; a single p.o.) is rapidly absorbed (Tmax=1 h) and eliminated rapidly in dogs.

Obestatin (rat)
Obestatin(rat), encoded by the Ghrelin gene, is a cpeptide, comprised of 23 amino acids. Obestatin(rat) suppresses food intake, inhibits jejunal contraction, and decreases body-weight gain. Obestatin is an endogenous ligand of G-protein coupled receptor 39 (GPR39). Obestatin(rat) has anti-inflammatory, anti-myocardial infarction and antioxidant activities.
-
PEN-221
PEN-221 is a Somatostatin receptor 2 (SSTR2)-targeting cytotoxic conjugate with an IC50 of 10 nM. PEN-221 is a conjugate consisting of microtubule-targeting agent DM1 linked to the C-terminal side chain of Tyr3-octreotate.
