DescriptionAVE-0118 is a potent I(to)/I(Kur) blocker, Kv1.5 channel inhibitor with IC50 of 5.6 uM, also blocks Kv1.3, Kv2.1, Kv3.1, and Kv4.3 channels with similar potency; dose-dependently prolongs the atrial refractoriness independent from rate and inhibits left atrial vulnerability (LAV) in vivo; fully restored atrial contraction without proarrhythmic effects on the ventricle.Heart Arrhythmia Phase 2 Discontinued.
