DescriptionIsomangiferin is the major tetracyclic oxindole alkaloid components of Uncaira species, inhibits NMDA receptor with IC50 of 43.2 uM, also blocks calcium channel; also effectively blocks the EphA4-dependent signaling in hippocampal neurons, reduces the EphA4 activity effectively in the hippocampus of APP/PS1 transgenic mice after oral administration, restores the impaired long-term potentiation in transgenic mouse models of AD.
