DescriptionDS-2969b (DS 11960558) is a novel orally active GyrB inhibitor, inhibits the supercoiling activity of C. difficile DNA gyrase with IC50 of 20 ng/mL; showes potent in vitro activity against C. difficile clinical isolates with MIC90 of 0.06 μg/mL, 2-, 32-, and 16-fold lower than the MIC90 of fidaxomicin, vancomycin, and metronidazole, respectively; demonstrates excellent in vivo activity against Clostridium difficile (CDI) model.Bacterial Infection Phase 1 Clinical.
