Description

BC-1485 is a first-in-class, small molecule inhibitor of FIEL1 (Fibrosis-inducing E3 ligase 1) that exhibits potent activity toward disrupting FIEL1-directed PIAS4 ubiquitination; exhibits >100-fold activity in disrupting the FIEL1-PIAS4 interaction compared with BC-1480; dose-dependently increases PIAS4 protein levels, stabilize PIAS4 in cells; ameliorates fibrosis in murine models.
