-
DescriptionP7C3 is a drug related to latrepirdine (dimebon), which has neuroprotective and proneurogenic effects, and may be potentially useful for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and similar neurodegenerative disorders. The precise mechanism of action through which these effects are exerted remains unclear as of 2010, but the pharmacological effects of P7C3 in vitro resemble those of endogenous proneurogenic peptides such as fibroblast growth factor 1, and the proneurogenic activity of P7C3 was around thirty times that of dimebon when they were compared side by side in mice.
-
In VitroP7C3-OMe is a pro-neurogenic compound, has therapeutic benefits in neuropsychiatric and/or neurodegenerative disease.

L-allo-Isoleucine
L-alloisoleucine is a branched chain amino acid and is a stereoisomer of L-isoleucine. It is a common constituent of human plasma (albeit at low levels). L-alloisoleucine is produced as a byproduct of isoleucine transamination. Plasma L-alloisoleucine which is derived from L-isoleucine in vivo can be used for the diagnosis of maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) a genetic disorder.

Phenyl-ac-Gly-OH
Phenylacetylglycine is an acyl glycine. Acyl glycines are normally minor metabolites of fatty acids. The presence of phenylacetylglycine in urine has been confirmed for dogs rats and mice. However the presence of this compound in human urine is controversial. GC-MS studies have not found this compound while NMR studies claimed to have identified it.
