DescriptionLevomenol is a sesquiterpene alcohol that has been found in the essential oils of several aromatic plants with exerts antioxidant anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic activities.?(In Vivo):Levomenol ((-)-α-Bisabolol) (100-200 mg/kg; p.o.; one day before and 1 h after pMCAO; once daily for the following five day; Male Swiss mice) significantly reduces the infarcted area and neurological deficits caused by pMCAO. pMCAO: permanent media cerebral artery occlusion.(?)-α-bisabolol exerts anti-inflammatory effects by reducing astrogliosis, MPO activity, and TNF-α and iNOS production.

Lys(Me)3-OH Chloride
NεNεNε-Trimethyl-L-lysine is a methylated derivative of the amino acid lysine. It is a component of histone proteins a precursor of carnitine and a coenzyme of fatty acid oxidation. NεNεNε--Trimethyl-L-lysine residues are found in a number of proteins and are generated by the action of S-adenosyl-L-methionine on exposed lysine residues.

[Pro3]-GIP (Mouse)
GIP receptor antagonist (IC50 = 2.6μM). Inhibits GIP-stimulated insulin release from pancreatic β cells in vitro. In ob/ob mice, blocks the effects of GIP on insulin release and plasma glucose levels. Also improves intraperitoneal glucose tolerance, insulin sensitivity, and glucose response to feeding in ob/ob mice.
