Brief DescriptionGlycerylphosphorylcholine is a natural choline compound found in the brain and in milk. It is also a parasympathomimetic acetylcholine precursor which may have a potential for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
-
DescriptionCholine Alfoscerate, also known as Alpha GPC and L-Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine, is a component of PHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINES or LECITHINS, in which the two hydroxy groups of GLYCEROL are esterified with fatty acids. Choline Alfoscerate is a precursor in the biosynthesis of brain phospholipids and increases the bioavailability of choline in nervous tissue. Choline Alfoscerate is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias.
