The risk of elevated serum concentrations of estradiol due to the inhibition of estradiol glucuronidation by Demethylzeylasteral. Demethylzeylasteral increases both activation and inactivation time constants of Ca(2+) currents, can inhibit significantly the sperm acrosome reaction initiated by progesterone.
